ROSARAZY Reimagines Femininity for the Modern Woman

What happens when a woman refuses to lose herself to the demands of everyday life?
For designer Mayte Aubel, that question became the foundation of ROSARAZY, a fashion brand born from a desire to preserve creativity, confidence, and individuality in a world that often encourages women to shrink themselves to fit expectations. Through her debut collection, Aubel offers a fresh perspective on femininity—one that embraces comfort, self-expression, and authenticity without compromise.

Like many women, Aubel found herself navigating the realities of professional life and the subtle ways it can shape personal identity. As she settled into an office environment, she noticed her relationship with fashion beginning to change. Shopping became less about self-expression and more about practicality. The clothing she once used to communicate creativity and confidence was slowly being replaced by what felt acceptable, appropriate, and expected.
Rather than accept that shift, she began asking a different question: Why should women have to choose between professionalism and personal style?
That question ultimately became the catalyst for her first collection.

Designed with versatility in mind, the collection reflects the realities of modern womanhood. Aubel envisioned pieces that could move effortlessly throughout a woman's day—from work meetings to dinner with friends, from responsibility to leisure—without requiring her to leave parts of herself behind. The result is a collection that prioritizes comfort and confidence while celebrating the individuality of the women who wear it.
At the heart of ROSARAZY is a deeper conversation about femininity.
Aubel describes her work as an exploration of what it means to embrace femininity through what she calls the "feminine gaze." Rather than designing through the lens of attraction or outside validation, she focuses on creating garments that honor the woman herself—her dreams, her comfort, her confidence, and the way she chooses to move through the world.

That philosophy can be seen throughout the collection's thoughtful silhouettes and intentional details. Flowing shapes, playful color palettes, and retro-inspired influences create pieces that feel simultaneously nostalgic and modern. Drawing inspiration from the fashion of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, Aubel embraces the joy, whimsy, and visual storytelling often associated with those eras while bringing them into conversation with today's woman.
Yet perhaps the most compelling aspect of Aubel's journey is not the clothing itself, but what creating it represented.
Launching her first collection required her to trust her instincts, lean into her creativity, and reconnect with parts of herself that had been pushed aside by the routines of adulthood. Along the way, she discovered that confidence is often built not through perfection, but through honoring the gifts and dreams placed within us.

She credits much of that growth to the unwavering support of her family, friends, and creative community. From helping with production and logistics to offering encouragement during difficult moments, their belief in her vision reinforced the importance of pursuing the things that make us feel most alive.
Looking back, Aubel describes the experience as a return to herself.
As she immersed herself in the design process, she found herself reconnecting with the influences, aesthetics, and creative instincts that had shaped her from childhood. In many ways, the collection became an act of honoring her younger self—the girl who loved fashion, dreamed boldly, and believed creativity could change the way people saw themselves.

In a culture that often rewards conformity, her work serves as a reminder that confidence does not come from fitting in—it comes from embracing who God created you to be. And sometimes, the most powerful thing a woman can wear is the freedom to be herself.
