Faith in Motion: Tashee’s NYFW Runway Rooted in Purpose and Presence

We had the honor of covering Tashee Inc.’s “Brooklyn Meets Jesus” showcase at the Mothers to Daughters NYFW Show, and it was nothing short of powerful.

At first look, the collection carried a presence that felt both grounded and intentional. There was a bold, effortless edge woven throughout—structured silhouettes, confident styling, and a quiet strength that didn’t ask for attention, but naturally held it. And yet, layered within that strength was a softness. Not fragile, but intentional. Not loud, but undeniable.

This was a collection that lived in contrast—and did so beautifully. Brooklyn grit met grace, and somehow, they didn’t compete; they complemented. Each piece felt like a reflection of real women navigating both resilience and faith, edge and elegance, street and spirit.

What made the moment even more impactful was the energy on the runway. There was a sense that this wasn’t just about fashion—it was about identity. About showing up fully as you are, and allowing both your strength and your softness to be seen.

Tashee didn’t just present a collection at New York Fashion Week. She offered a perspective—one where faith and fashion don’t sit on opposite ends, but walk side by side, confidently and unapologetically.

And that’s a story worth telling.
